This Republic Day, as India marks 76 remarkable years as a Republic, the nation stands proud to celebrate its heritage, diversity, and democratic spirit. The theme of this year’s celebrations, Swarnim Bharat: Virasat aur Vikas (Golden India: Heritage and Progress), reflects India’s journey of growth while embracing its rich cultural legacy.
Adding to the grandeur of the occasion, the President of the Republic of Indonesia, Mr. Prabowo Subianto, graces the celebrations as the Chief Guest. His presence signifies the enduring friendship and robust partnership between India and Indonesia, two nations linked by shared history, cultural ties, and a vision for regional peace and prosperity.

For the first time, a 350-member Indonesian contingent, comprising a 160-member marching unit and a 190-member band, will join the Indian Armed Forces in the grand parade along the Kartavya Path. This historic moment highlights the spirit of camaraderie and mutual respect between the two nations, showcasing the unity and cooperation that the world aspires to achieve.
